Maison Joseph Duclos presents a limited and numbered edition of the Diane bag, created in collaboration with American artist Peter Halley and inspired by his 1987 work Rectangular Prison with Smokestack.

Reinterpreted through the Maison’s savoir-faire, the bag is crafted entirely in leather marquetry, layering and assembling colored leathers to echo Halley’s vibrant geometric language.

Each of the five pieces created worldwide embodies the encounter between modern art and haute maroquinerie.

To do this, we have chosen high-quality leathers and materials that can stand the test of time. To help them develop a beautiful patina and retain their shine, here are some maintenance tips:

• To reduce the risk of scratches, keep your bag away from abrasive surfaces.
• Protect your model from moisture and keep it away from sources of excessive heat such as the summer sun, radiators or the interior of a car during a heatwave.
• Avoid putting leather in contact with the following products: hand sanitizer, perfume, makeup, hand cream, liquids, oily products, solvents, etc.
• If your bag has been splashed by rain, wipe it with a soft cloth.
• To maintain your bag's iconic shape, avoid overloading or overfilling it.
• To preserve the depth of dark colours, avoid prolonged contact with light fabrics, especially in high humidity.
• To preserve the vibrancy of light colours, avoid rubbing fabrics where the colour could transfer.
• When not using your bag, put it back in its pouch and store it upright in a cool, dark place, stuffing it with tissue paper to keep its original shape.
